Forrest City Athletic Hall of Fame

The 18th Annual Forrest City Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will honor eight new members. The honorees are chosen from three eras: Lincoln High School, Forrest City High School before 1970 and Forrest City High School after 1970.

This year’s honorees include: Fred Davis ’63 and Maceo Hawkins ’70 from Lincoln; Lawson Hughes ’48, and Fred Burrows ’64 from Forrest City before 1970; and Clifton Blanchett ’77, Tyrone Echols ’77, Marcus Britt ’07, Kelson Stewart ’07 and Stephon Weaver ’07 from Forrest City after 1970.

The induction ceremony will be held September 22, 2017 at the Performing Arts Center at East Arkansas Community College at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at Delta OfficeWorks, Forrest City High School or the Forrest City Area Chamber of Commerce.
