Forrest City Athletic Hall of Fame

The 13th Annual Forrest City Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will honor ten new members. The honorees are chosen from three eras: Lincoln High School, Forrest City High School before 1970 and Forrest City High School after 1970.

This year’s honorees include: Bill Johnson ’63, Samella Hancock ’65 and Tyrone Johnson ’70 from Lincoln; Linda Rauscher Harrington ’49, Jim Beazley III ’56, Rodger Taylor ’70 from Forrest City before 1970; and Shedrick Dumas ’87, Mike McCain ’98, and Dwight Lofton from Forrest City after 1970 and Oscar Collins for Meritorious Service.

The induction ceremony will be held September 14, 2012 at the Performing Arts Center at East Arkansas Community College at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at Baxter & Associates or the Forrest City Area Chamber of Commerce.
