Forrest City Athletic Hall of Fame

The 15th Annual Forrest City Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will honor seven new members. The honorees are chosen from three eras: Lincoln High School, Forrest City High School before 1970 and Forrest City High School after 1970.

This year’s honorees include: Robert Haggans ’67 and Edward Harris ’68 from Lincoln; Coach James “Zebe” Perry ’42-’49 and I. B. Stewart ’57 from Forrest City before 1970; and Van Banks ’78, Pat Mitchell ’77 and Coach Donnie Willis ’99-’04 from Forrest City after 1970.

The induction ceremony will be held September 19, 2014 at the Performing Arts Center at East Arkansas Community College at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $12 each and can be purchased at Times Herald Printing or the Forrest City Area Chamber of Commerce.
